Mastering the assessment and management of concussion

The Western Australian Concussion Symposium will feature eminent Western Australian Concussion Network (WACN) researchers and clinicians to provide delegates an update on current best practice and management of concussion. This will include a keynote lecture by Dr Gill Cowen, chair of the Western Australian Concussion Network, as well a series of practical workshops for anyone managing people with concussion, the best new concussion research coming out of Western Australia and a dedicated session for industry professionals (led by Mr Troy Kirkham from the Western Australian Football Commission) to discuss policy with the Western Australian Concussion Network leads. This symposium would be perfect for anyone from a sports trainer/ first aider to a general practitioner, physiotherapist or club administrator.
