Summary:
This study involves conducting a ‘before and after study’ to measure the impact of a new fast-food outlet on the eating behaviours and neighbourhood perceptions of school students, their parents and local residents.
The study will also assess how the food environment near the new fast-food outlet changes (i.e. what other businesses close down/open) in response to the opening of the new fast-food outlet.
